I have been working in Macau now for over 4 years as a scuba diver trainer and underwater technician for the world’s greatest water show, The House of dancing Water. In order to maintain my love of staying fit, healthy and in shape I have tried many gyms, yoga classes and even personal trainers since I have been in Macau. I can honestly say that nothing I have experienced can equal the levels of professionalism, motivation and friendliness that I feel every time I work-out at Warrior Fitness. Small groups, personal treatment and especially the ability for a session to have participants of every level of fitness and ability working-out together and not feeling as if they are holding others up is the unique and very special appeal of Warrior Fitness to me. And I have made some great new friends for life here!
I moved to Macau in July 2016 with my husband. My previous gyms were large, commercial gyms and I primarily attended dance classes. I found Warrior Fitness as soon as I moved here and tried boxing for the first time. It was intimidating to try a workout style I have never done but now I love boxing more than any other workout. Everyone at the gym encourages each other and I’m excited to go to the gym everyday. I can also see that my arms are more toned and I love seeing my body changing. I’m looking forward to continuing my progress and improving myself at Warrior Fitness!

June 3, 2016 is the day I registered in the Warrior Fitness Gym. My motivation at that time was to get fit and lose some weight. My weight was 77kg when I started to attend the Muay Thai class of Dennis, then I started to attend various classes like cardio boxing, beginner boxing, and developmental sparring. At first, it was really hard for me because of my big tummy and not so fit body. There was a lot of time I wanted to give up and look for other alternatives to lose weight because I love to eat and sleep a lot during those times. Then I met new friends and trainers like Agustin and Mark that are really supportive to me. They teach and coach me a lot on how to improve my boxing skills from scratch since I haven’t done boxing since birth or any martial arts class before. Now I’m beginning to love the sport of boxing. It helped me to achieve my goal by losing 5kg within 4 months and also it paved the way for me to develop new kinds of healthy habits that can yield a lot of positive results in my life. Now I’m at my 6th month straight training in Warrior Fitness. My goal is to compete on the coming White Collar Boxing charity event. Please pray for me that I will be ready to fight and to support this meaningful event on March 2017. This has been my warrior journey so far and I know it’s only going to get better! More power to Warrior Fitness especially to Howard and Doreen. God bless us all!
Since I joined Warrior Gym for the White Collar Boxing this year (2016), I have, since then, really enjoyed the atmosphere, the coaches, the gym itself, all the cool people that go to the classes but also the management, Howard & Doreen. I believe that you guys are doing a great job and that the coaches are too. There is room for improvement, as there always is, and I will be more than happy to be apart of that, if I can.
My goals were just to keep active as my football / soccer season had ended, to train and be healthy, but ultimately, now, I am aiming to pursuit boxing as much as I can, as I found a new hobby and just can’t get enough of it.
